These Terms and Conditions apply to your use of this website (westshop.westcancannabis.ca) and to orders you reserve through it for pickup at Westcan Cannabis (West Shop), an AGLC-licensed cannabis retailer (licence #781723) located at 10 Aquitania Blvd W, Unit 20, Lethbridge, AB T1J 5L4. By using the website or placing an order, you agree to these terms.
1. Age requirement
You must be 18 or older (Alberta legal age) to use this website, create an account or reserve products. Store staff check government-issued photo ID at pickup. We will not complete a sale to anyone who cannot show valid ID proving they are 18 or older, and we may refuse a sale whenever the law requires us to.
2. Pickup only
All orders are for in-store pickup at the store you ordered from. We do not deliver or ship.
3. Reservations and payment
Placing an order on this website reserves the products for pickup. It is not a sale. You pay at the store when you pick up your order. The sale is complete only when store staff have checked your ID and you have paid.
We will let you know by email when your order is ready for pickup.
4. Prices and availability
Online prices and stock update from our stores, but they can briefly differ. If anything doesn’t match, the price and availability at the store you pick up from apply.
Prices are shown in Canadian dollars. Applicable taxes are shown at checkout or charged at the store. If a product is listed with an obvious error in price or description, we may cancel or adjust the reservation and will tell you before you pay.
5. Purchase limits
Federal and Alberta law limit the amount of cannabis an adult may possess in public to 30 grams of dried cannabis or its equivalent. We may limit the quantity of products in an order, or decline or adjust an order, to comply with the law and AGLC rules.
6. Cancellations and orders not picked up
If you want to cancel a reservation, please contact the store before you pick it up. Because you pay at pickup, nothing is charged for a cancelled reservation.
We may cancel a reservation if it is not picked up within a reasonable time, if a product becomes unavailable, or if we cannot complete the sale under these terms or the law. We will let you know if we cancel your order.
7. Returns and refunds
Cannabis products cannot be returned or refunded once the sale is complete, except where required by law or in the case of a product recall issued by AGLC or Health Canada. Please check your order at the counter before you pay. If you have a concern about a product, please contact the store.
8. Accounts
You can reserve products without an account. If you create one (where available), you must confirm that you are 18 or older and give accurate information. If you sign in with Google (where offered), Google’s own terms also apply to your Google account. Please keep your sign-in details secure; you are responsible for activity on your account. We may suspend or close an account that is used in breach of these terms or the law.
9. Product information
Product descriptions, images and potency figures (such as THC and CBD values) are provided for information only and come from suppliers and product labels. Actual products and values can vary from batch to batch; the product label at the store applies. Nothing on this website is medical advice or a claim that any product treats or prevents a health condition. Talk to a health care professional about your health. 10. Using the website
Please use the website only for lawful purposes. Do not try to interfere with its operation, access other people’s accounts, or copy its content for commercial use. Content on this website belongs to Westcan Cannabis or its suppliers.
11. Limitation of liability
We work to keep the website accurate and available, but it is provided “as is” and may contain errors or be unavailable at times. To the extent permitted by law, Westcan Cannabis is not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential losses arising from your use of the website or from a reservation. Nothing in these terms limits any rights you have under Alberta consumer protection law that cannot be limited by agreement.

13. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. The version on this page applies to orders placed after it is posted. The date at the top shows when it was last changed.
14. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Alberta and the federal laws of Canada that apply in Alberta. Any dispute will be handled by the courts of Alberta.
